An artist and educator, Madeleine Kelly has judged numerous exhibitions.  Her studio is in Southeastern Pennsylvania. She favors a quote from journalist Bill Moyers which best describes her personal approach to her art,   "Creativity is piercing the mundane to find the marvelous.”   Madeleine believes art is passion, discovery, evolution and an endless journey and loves to explore the versatility of multiple mediums.  Her greatest joys are playing with textures and color.  Although her inspirational triggers are everywhere it is often the medium itself that drives her.

Although she never formally studied art, she continues to grow as an artist and has achieved her skills through workshops, museums, and demo presentations with such leading artists as Elizabeth Mowry, Rea Redifer, and Homer Johnson among others. Her works are displayed and admired in public and private collections around the world. Her paintings have been selected for various national and international juried exhibitions. An award winning exhibitor, she is a signature member of the Philadelphia Water Color Society,  signature member of the Philadelphia Water Color Society and Maryland Pastel Society.

She has been published in magazines and newspapers including a Philadelphia Inquirer feature; an American Artist Magazine feature and the Philadelphia Stories Magazine. Her artwork can be seen gracing the set of the recently released feature indie film; “The Suspect”.  She serves on the board of both the Haverford Guild of Craftsmen and Philadelphia Water Color Society.
