Workshop:     

“Pastel”

COLOR.. adds excitement to a painting.  Sharpen your observation skills while working from a still life or reference photo. Work with both low intensity and pure, directly applied color with pastels. Build colors and textures.  We will address technique through demo and lecture, preparation of grounds, types of paper and under paintings and include safety issues and framing. If you can draw you can pastel !  All levels welcome.

October 29th, 30th, and 31st 2010, Three day workshop

·         Pastel/Acrylic workshop is back at Ashland Hollow, Hockessin, De.    

Drawing and painting from nature and photographs, working on customized support surfaces. This process pushes the "abstract” envelope.  Loosen up your technique. We will cover layout of the composition, under painting techniques, painting quickly and expressively using strong color. Workshop will take place at Ashland Hollow Gardens in Hockessin , DE .
